The first UCLA-St. Shenouda Conference was organized back in 1999. It is the longest annual conference of Coptic Studies outside of Egypt. The conference this year is dedicated to the Life and Times of St. Shenouda the Archimandrite and will honor the achievement of Professor Dwight W. Young. The papers related to this topic will feature presenters from US, Australia, Belgium, Germany, Italy, and Japan. The subject matter covers all aspects related to this topic, including Art, History, Language, and Literature (Coptic and Christian Arabic).
