The Department of Near Eastern Languages and Cultures at UCLA is seeking a part-time Lecturer to teach Elementary Arabic and an Arabic-language pedagogy course during the 2020-2021 academic year. A Ph.D. in Near Eastern Languages, Applied Linguistics, or a closely related field is required. Duties include supervision of graduate teaching assistants in Elementary Arabic. Degree must be in hand by July 1, 2020.
