The Department of Near Eastern Languages and Cultures announces that Biblical Hebrew Language now fulfills the Foreign Language Requirement at UCLA. Sign up for Hebrew 110A, 110B, and 110C now! This sequence of courses introduces students to the phonology, morphology, and syntax of biblical Hebrew. Students learn to read and translate biblical Hebrew narrative and poetry found in the Hebrew Bible and/or Old Testament.
