We are proud to recognize Professor Hagop Kouloujian for being featured by LAist.com for his outstanding achievements in teaching Western Armenian. His class model keeps students engaged through creative assignments and applications at all levels. This is especially impressive given that Armenian has a rich cultural heritage and intricate rules that could seem intimidating.
Thanks to Professor Kouloujian’s unique approach and native knowledge of the language, he has guided many students of all backgrounds into learning more about Armenian heritage and language. We at the Near Eastern Languages and Cultures department are excited to see Professor Kouloujian continue his contributions to the preservation of the Armenian language.
