Charles is a PhD student in Egyptology focusing on the Napatan Period Kingdom of Kush and Digital Humanities. He graduated with a BA in History from Missouri State University with a minor in Religious Studies. He also earned a Graduate Certificate in Individualized Studies with a focus on Egyptology at Missouri State. Following his time at Missouri State, he went on to earn a MA from the University of Memphis in Ancient History with a concentration on Egyptology. Charles has also participated in archeology excavations and surveys in Jordan, Italy, and Jerusalem. As well as assisting in curating the “Writing in Three Dimensions” exhibit at the Art History Museum at the University of Memphis.
