Jake Hill

Jake Hill (he/him/his) is an incoming graduate student from Weatherford, TX. He earned a B.A. (Anthropology, Religion) from Baylor University (2025). He is interested in Levantine archaeology, Northwest Semitic inscriptions, and the intersection of social identity and state formation in the Levant. At UCLA, he is looking forward to expanding his knowledge of scholarship and archaeology, studying languages, and conducting research. Outside of academics, Jake is a fan of college football and previously competed in rodeo prior to his undergraduate studies.
