Morgan Hartshorn is a scholar of Medieval Arabic studies with a B.A. in History from George Fox University. She was awarded the Richter Scholar Research Grant for her paper, Post-Sasanian Leadership: The Influence of Islam within the Samanid, Buyid, and Ziyarid Dynasties. In 2019, she presented other research at the Phi Alpha Theta Conference (University of Idaho). Beyond university, Morgan increased public awareness of history by working in local museums and archives. She is a well-rounded educator with past experience as a substitute teacher, tutor, and teaching assistant.
