Through hard work and dedication, Professor Aomar Boum, a core faculty member of Islamic Studies, has shared a spectacular update regarding the relaunch of Amazigh Studies at UCLA. In partnership with Dr. Brahim El Guabli, Professor Boum is expecting to publish at least four books by 2025 as part of Amazigh Studies Series with Georgetown University Press! There are plans that go beyond publications as well, including the possibility of an Amazigh Studies instructor in the not so distant future.
A very admirable beginning and we hope to hear more news about the breakthroughs concerning Amazigh Studies at UCLA.
