Humanities Career Panel Series
The UCLA Humanities Career Panel Series (HCPS) aims to help graduates translate their knowledge into successful careers.
With three thousand undergraduate humanities majors and minors each year, the Division of Humanities at the University of California, Los Angeles is making it a top priority to help its highly qualified graduates find placement with employers with whom they can envision themselves building careers. The UCLA Humanities Career Panel Series (HCPS) aims to help graduates translate their knowledge into successful careers. Designed specifically for students majoring and minoring in the Humanities, the UCLA HCPS will provide students with the necessary tools to be competitive in today’s job market and give them with the opportunity to connect in-person with employers and people in their target careers.
The series will unfold over the course of the academic year with a number of workshops, panels, discussions, and a networking event during which time students can meet employers in a casual setting. Students will learn how to market their (analytical, writing, problem solving, and foreign language) skills to employers and what types of careers they can find and target in various industries.
