Dear Jewish Studies Students,
The Alan D. Leve Center for Jewish Studies is UCLA’s clearinghouse for classes and events related to the academic study of Jewish culture and history. Directed by Professor Todd Presner, the Leve Center is dedicated to advancing scholarship in all areas of Jewish studies; involving students in public history and civic engagement; and serving as an exceptional public resource for Jewish life and learning.
The Center’s Student Leadership Council is an official UCLA student organization that provides student input to the Leve Center’s Director and Advisory Board, organizes programs for students, encourages student participation in regular Leve Center programs, and establishes a link with Jewish studies alumni.
We welcome your involvement! Attached is an invitation to the Leve Center’s Grand Opening events Nov. 6-9 and an application to join the Student Leadership Council.
